This book is a report of a study that examined the impact of achievement of our special colloquium Daniel Olorunfemi Fagunwa as an educationist in Nigeria. The impact of his legacy is felt on Nigerian literature, languages, philosophy, culture and education. Drawing from Fagunwa’s works, this book takes a critical look at the language and character presentation in his books and Soyinka, Ajadi and Adeniyi as interpreters of his books into English language for Nigerian education. his works has had major influence as a pioneer on writing in Nigeria. How remarkable it is that, from the early days, His literature books have managed to equal that of the rest of the world; if not actually to become the leader. His educational contribution was unique for his age and is relevant to our educational aspirations today. It is an accomplishment we may well be proud of. It is a crucial point which is yet to be given its place in the world of historiography.
